      Boeing Board of Directors announces its recommendations from a five-month independent review of the company's policies and processes for airplane design and development.

      Boeing Chairman, President and CEO Dennis Muilenburg and the board announce the establishment of a permanent Aerospace Safety Committee of the Board of Directors.

      Boeing hosted Administrator Steve Dickson at our facilities in Renton, WA and Seattle. The Administrator spent time in the 737 MAX simulator and held discussions with our senior leaders, including Boeing Commercial Airplanes President and CEO Kevin McAllister.

      The FAA identified an additional requirement during simulator sessions. reviewing specific flight conditions and scenarios. Boeing will address this requirement through updated software changes.

      Boeing hosted FAA pilots in our engineering flight simulator to review specific flight conditions and scenarios.

      The FAA held a full-day meeting with representatives from 33 global regulatory bodies to discuss the process for bringing the 737 MAX back into service.

      Boeing completed development of the updated software for the 737 MAX, including associated simulator testing and engineering test flights.

      Boeing completed the first engineering flight with Boeing test pilots to evaluate the updated MCAS software. Results provided to engineers and specialists to further enable software development processes.

      The Ethiopian Accident Investigation Bureau issued the preliminary investigation report for Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302. Boeing Chairman and CEO Dennis Muilenburg addressed the preliminary report.

      The FAA suspended operations of the 737 MAX based on data from the Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 accident. Boeing supported this step.
